What is the BIIAB APLH?
BIIAB stands for British Institute of Innkeeping Awarding Body. They are a government approved awarding body allowed to offer the accredited APLH qualification. APLH stands for Award for Personal Licence Holders.
Why do I have to take this exam?
The exam / qualification is a mandatory requirement for anyone wishing to gain a personal licence. Upon successful completion you will be able to make an application to your local council / authority and you will need to provide the APLH certificate

What learning materials do you send?
Our system is fully automated and will send your welcome information as soon as we receive your booking. The welcome email will have access to our APLH video presentation, PDF workbook and BIIAB mock exam
Can I speak with a tutor?
Absolutely! - Call the office and the team will schedule a call with one of our consultants / tutors
How do I book the actual exam?
Your exam is booked via our exam diary. This is sent out via your welcome email and you are free to select a time and date to suit.
What happens on the day of my exam?
You will join your Zoom meeting link and be welcomed by one of our examiners. They will explain the exam process, check your ID and provide you the login details for the exam. The exam is multiple choice with 40 questions.
What happens If I pass?
You will receive an instant result by our exam system. If you have passed we will get a result report and result confirmation sent across to you via email and your certificate will follow on.
What happens if I fail?
We do not charge for any re-sits. You will be invited to book in another exam session.
When will I get my certificate?
E-certs are issued 2-3 times a week and if you need the hard copy we can send that out recorded delivery upon request.
